Local Pumpkin Patches

Fall leaves, crips air and cozy nights are here. There are only a few weekends lift to visit our local
pumpkin patches to enjoy their autumn events. Kids love the excitement of wagon rides, corn mazes,
and the opportunity to pick out the perfect pumpkin to carve for their doorsteps. Many of our local
farms have added other fall and Halloween themed activities too. Kiwan Farms on Hawthorne Road
hosts an all-out pumpkin fest. Venture out to FrightFest at Saunders Farm in Munster or plan a picnic to
Proulx Farms in Cumberland.

Pumpkin Patch Tips

Book in Advance or Go at Non-Peak Times: Some pumpkin patches require advance booking.
Dress for the Weather: Fall weather can be cold and wet. Since you’ll be outdoors, layer up, include rain
gear and wear boots since farms can be muddy.
Leave Your Dog at Home: Most farms do not allow dogs.
