12 Awesome Easter Activities

Easter weekend has arrived, and there are so many activities for you in and around Ottawa! Get ready to create cherished memories with one of these Easter adventures that will leave the whole family smiling from ear to ear!

Hop on over to a Farm for some Easter Fun  

  • Easter Weekend at the Proulx Maple and Berry Farm (March 3rd to April 14th, 2024): Enjoy outdoor farm activities and sugar bush visits with plenty of fun awaiting families at Proulx Maple Berry Farm.
  • Bunny Hop at Ashfield Farm (March 30th, 2024): Get busy with these hands-on adventures including cupcake decorating, Easter bunny tea, cuddling with bunnies, crafts, pony rides, and an epic Easter egg hunt at Ashfield Farm.
  • Easter at the Log Farm (March 29th-April 1st, 2024): Explore Easter activities including egg hunts, visits with farm animals and bunnies, and fun at the kids’ play area at the Log Farm.
  • Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm (Saturday, March 30): Hop aboard the tractor-drawn wagon for a ride out to the sugarbush where you will hunt through the bush in search of the lost eggs.
  • Valleyview Little Animal Farm  (Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1): Join the  annual Easter Egg Hunt while and visit all the animals and birds up close.
  • Ottawa Farmer’s Market (Sundays until April 28th, 2024): Discover a variety of edible goods and crafts at the Ottawa Farmer’s Market featuring over 50 artisans and farmers at Aberdeen Pavilion in Lansdowne Park

Diefenbunker Museum (Saturday, March 30): Families are invited to explore the  as you search for signs of spring that the Easter Bunny has left behind and pick up some treats along the way!

Easter at the Estate – Billings Estate National Historic Site (March 30th and 31st, 2024): Step back in time at the Billings Estate National Historic Site to experience Victorian-era Easter festivities, including egg hunts, egg decorating, and more family-friendly activities.

Hop into Spring Cumberland Heritage Village Museum (March 30, 2024): Join the Easter festivities at Cumberland Heritage Village Museum with activities such as egg hunts, crafts, and interactions with furry and feathered visitors.
